Applebee’s is raising a fork to teachers! In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5–9, 2025), T.L. Cannon Companies—local franchisee and proud operator of 54 Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar restaurants—is giving back to the incredible educators who inspire and shape our communities.
From Monday, May 05 through Friday, May 09, all teachers who dine in at participating Applebee’s locations will be treated to:

The promotion is valid at Applebee’s locations operated by T.L. Cannon Companies across Upstate New York, Connecticut, and Sayre, PA. To redeem the free dessert and receive a BOGO (Buy One, Get One) entrée coupon, educators must dine in between May 5–9, 2025, make a purchase, and show proof of employment (school ID, badge, or recent pay stub). The BOGO coupon is valid for dine-in use only from May 12 through June 8, 2025, at participating locations.
This initiative is part of T.L. Cannon’s long-standing commitment to supporting local schools. In 2024 alone, the company raised and committed over $518,000 toward school-focused fundraising and support programs across their neighborhoods. These efforts include youth-led Flapjack Fundraisers, the A is for Applebee’s Free Kids Meal reward cards (for children 10 and under), the Cool Credit appetizer reward program (for students ages 11–18), and the Bookworm Club, a reading incentive that rewards students with a Free Kids Meal after reading ten books.
